On September 9, Fortune magazine unveiled the list of China's Most Admired Companies in 2025, with COFCO Corporation once again among the honorees. This marks the 16th consecutive year that COFCO has been included on the list.
According to Fortune, COFCO has built a full-industry-chain supply system covering international agricultural storage, logistics, processing, and trading. Its operations span six continents, with a global business volume of 180 million tons. The company gives priority to the business layout in producing areas with the biggest potential in South America and the Black Sea, and expands in key consumer markets across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Africa which in total account for more than half of the world's population. By establishing the main trade channel of food and agriculture between the Eastern and Western hemispheres, COFCO is endeavouring to make the global agri-food supply more stable and efficient.
